METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING POLYIMIDE TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and a yield in a method for producing a polyimide tube useful for electrophotographic devices such as a laser beam printer and a facsimile. SOLUTION: A solution containing a polyamic acid as a main component is mixed with a curing agent, and the mixed solution, while keeping fluidity, is supplied into a mold having a doubly cylindrical space. After the solution is coagulated by the effect of the curing agent, the self-holding semi-cured tubular product is taken out from the mold and fitted externally to a heat-curing mold to be heated and cured, and the polyimide tube is separated from the mold.
