PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for safely lifting a pool floor while protecting a mechanism for lifting the pool floor. SOLUTION: This pool floor lifting device is provided with wires 8 for lifting the pool floor 3 and moving the pool floor 3 up and down; wire driving devices 4, 5, 10 for winding or delivering the wires 8; detectors 14, 21 for detecting tension applied to the wires 8; and a control device 6 for controlling the wire driving devices 4, 5, 10. The floor lifting control device 6 winds and delivers the wires 8 and stops them in response to the tension applied to the wires 8.
