PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer feeder which is capable of performing high-speed conveyance by shortening the time from an induction heater to the die striking in a press. SOLUTION: The transfer feeder equipped with front and rear feed bars 1 and 2 arranged in front and rear of multistage dies of a forging press and a clamping device 30 for opening and closing both consists of a slide guide which intersects orthogonally with the front and rear feed bars 1 and 2 and guides a front supporting member 41 and rear supporting member 42 in clamping and unclamping directions, a ball screw mechanism 31 which is provided with a screw shaft 31a in parallel to the front and rear feed bars 1 and 2, a servo motor 35 which is attached to one end of the screw shaft 31a, a front connecting link 33 which is freely rotatably attached at one end to a nut 31b and is freely rotatably attached at the other end to the front supporting member 41 and a rear connecting link 34 which is freely rotatably attached at one end to a nut 31b and is freely rotatably attached at the other end to the rear supporting member 42.
