PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident resulting in injury or death caused by a fall due to slipping down from a temporary scaffolding or missing one's foot, and the fall of articles by fixing a toeboard to the temporary work scaffolding by a fixing fitting and a connecting fitting. SOLUTION: The toeboard 1 with a latch 2 is erected at the side face of a scaffolding board, and the scaffolding board and the toeboard 1 are integrally fixed by the fixing fitting 3 of the toeboard 1 to prevent the accident resulting in injury or death caused by the fall due to slipping down or missing one's foot and the fall of articles. Several kinds of height of the toeboard 1 are prepared according to the need for various construction sites. Moreover, the toeboard 1 is easily attached/detached since the fixing fitting 3 can be operated in a single operation. The following toeboard 1 is overlapped by forming the cutout part of the toeboard 1 up to the tip part of the latch 2. The overlap part is fixed by a connecting fitting 4 to integrate the toeboards 1 in a horizontal direction. Safety can thereby be ensured with more firmness.
