PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch plural operation signals for controlling operation of car- mounted equipment with a single switch device for output. SOLUTION: This switch device for a vehicle is provided with a cycle switch 19 for detecting a pressing operation on a dial knob 12, a rotary encoder 18 for detecting a rotating operation of the dial knob 12 and a display 13 arranged inside the dial knob 12, switches a target for setting a plurality of operation signals by detecting a pressing operation on the dial knob 12 with the cycle switch 19, displays the operation signal which has become the target for setting with the display 13, switches the output state of the operation signal which has become the target of setting by detecting the rotating amount of the dial knob 12 with the rotary encoder 18 and displays the output state of the operation signal with the display 13.
