PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device capable of absorbing errors in the stop position not only in the pallet carrying direction but also in the direction orthogonal thereto. SOLUTION: A supporting frame 5 is mounted on a base frame 4 via a linear guide 15, and a plurality of pallet carrying drive rollers 6 rotated by a motor 8 are provided on the supporting frame 5. A pallet 1 is pulled onto the supporting frame 5 while the sliding degree of freedom of the linear guide 15 is restricted by a lock pin 17. A positioning pin 12 is elevated to position the pallet 1 while unlocking the lock pin 17 with the sliding degree of freedom. Errors in the stop position in the pallet carrying direction and the direction orthogonal thereto can be absorbed by the sliding degree of freedom of the linear guide 15.
