METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WOODEN TRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wooden tray friendly to environment wherein it can be incinerated without generating a toxic gas and a performance for returning to soil when buried in the soil is provided. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the wooden tray is composed as follows: a log of a specific length is practically processed into a rectangular state by sawing axially and then sliced to a thickness of 1.0 to 1.5 mm by using a slicer (process A); an obtained sheet-like lumber is laminated and pressed for a specific time with a press device to remove twist of each sheet-like lumber (process B); thereafter, cutting is carried out conforming to a size of a tray to be prepared (process C); the sheet-like lumber after cutting is heat press molded with a press molder in which a male mold and a female mold for tray molding are installed (process D); and a coating layer having a water proofing property and comprising a biodegradable material capable of being decomposed by microbe is provided at least on an inside surface of the obtained wooden tray (process E).
