PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spraying device and a spraying method with which even in the case of exchanging a metallic mold, exchange of a nozzle holder is unnecessary and releasing agent to the necessary position in the metallic mold can be sprayed. SOLUTION: This spraying device is composed of the nozzle holder for holding a plurality of nozzles opposedly disposed on the mold surfaces of the opened metallic molds and spraying the releasing agent on these mold surfaces, solenoid valves SV respectively and independently performing opening/closing of the plurality of nozzles, or as a plurality of opening/closing means independently performing the opening/closing to the plurality of nozzle group constituted of the plurality of nozzles, and a control unit 20 for controlling the opening/ closing movements of the electromagnetic valve SV so that the spraying range of the releasing agent to the mold surface becomes a desired range.
