PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the press-fit fixing structure of a synthetic resin member and a sheet metal member, enabling stable fixation by bringing the tip parts of the locking pieces of the chrysanthemum-shaped hole formed to the sheet metal member into contact with the projection provided to the surface of the synthetic resin member under pressure at different height positions when the projection is pressed into the chrysanthemum-shaped hole under pressure and dispersing the pressure applied to the projection from the tip parts of the locking pieces to reduce the adverse effect on the projection. SOLUTION: The projection 2 provided to the surface of the synthetic resin member 1 by injection molding is pressed into the chrysanthemum-shaped hole 4 comprising the hole formed to the sheet metal member 3 by punching and a plurality of the locking pieces 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d obliquely provided to the periphery of the hole 5 to fix both members 1 and 3. In this press-fit fixing structure of the synthetic resin member 1 and the sheet metal member 3, as the locking pieces 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d, long ones and short ones are alternately formed and the tip parts P1 and P2 of the adjacent locking pieces are brought into contact with the side surface of the projection 2 at different height positions H1 and H2 .
