PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction-type pump drive device capable of maintaining the service life of a motor by completely sealing powder material contained in high-pressure fluid. SOLUTION: A first rotating shaft 2 comprises a magnetic flux variation means rotatably installed in a support housing 1 and having a second rotating shaft 20 rotatably installed in a pump housing 16, a first magnetic body 6 formed so as to be integrally rotated together with the first rotating shaft 2, a nonmagnetic conduction 12 installed on either of the first rotating shaft 2 and the second rotating shaft 20, and a sealing cover 10 comprising a nonconductive disk part 101, installed at the end of the second rotating shaft 20, and driven by the first rotating shaft 2. The first magnetic flux variation means is driven by the first rotating shaft, the varied magnetic flux acts on the nonmagnetic conductor 12 to generate an eddy current, and rotates the second rotating shaft 20 by the eddy current of the nonmagnetic conductor 12 and the electromagnetic action of the first magnetic body 6.
