A catalyst system comprises a first section (23) of the catalyst assembly associated with a first part (31) of the feed unit; and a second part (25) of the catalyst assembly associated with a second part (33) of the feed unit. The first and second parts of the catalyst assembly comprise the same catalysts. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of exhaust gas treatment.
