PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion sheet which has high dispersiveness of a light diffusing agent and can have its surface unevenness height easily controlled, a back light unit which uses the light diffusion sheet, and a manufacturing method for the light diffusion sheet. SOLUTION: The light diffusion sheet 1 has (a) a transparent base material layer 2 and a light diffusion layer 12 laminated on the top surface side of the base material layer 2 and is characterized by that (b) the light diffusion layer 12 has a binder 5 and a light diffusing agent 6 dispersed in the binder 5 and (c) the light diffusion agent 6 is electrostatically charged to the negative polarity. Beads are recommendable as the light diffusing agent 6. Negative electric charges of the light diffusing agent 6 are preferably 10 to 1000 μC/g. On the reverse-surface side of the base material layer 2, a sticking preventive layer 4 having beads 8 dispersed in a binder is formed and negatively charged beads are usable as the beads 8. |
