ELECTRIC FUSION COUPLING, RESIN PIPE, AND FUSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short by contact between heating wires by preventing movement of the heating wires by reducing fluidity of resin on a fusion interface during electric fusion without degrading workability of insertion of a pipe end into the electric fusion coupling. SOLUTION: When a ring 3 is engaged with and fixed to a cold zone outside the heating wires 2 buried like a coil of a socket coupling 1, and the pipe end of a resin pipe 4 is inserted, the ring 3 adheres to the pipe end to dam flow of fused resin. An adhering area of the pipe end to the ring 3 is small, and the adhering part does not hinder insertion of the pipe end.
