PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window elevating device for elevating/lowering a window, which is improved in anti-dust performance, water resistance, and freeze resistance, by sealing component elements forming a reduction gear mechanism therein, and preventing infiltration of a foreign matter and water droplets into the mechanism. SOLUTION: The gear reduction mechanism 4 is formed of a worm wheel 42 driven for rotation by an electric motor 3, an outer gear 41 fixed into a gear housing 22, an inner gear 44 engaging with the outer gear 41 to be eccentrically rotated by the worm wheel 42, a rotary disk 45 and a disk bracket 46 for transmitting a rotating force of the inner gear 44 to an output shaft in X and Y directions, the output shaft 47 penetrating a bottom of the gear housing 22, for transmitting a rotating force of the disk bracket 46 to an arm 5, and a cap 24 sealing an opening of the gear housing 22. By virtue of this structure, a foreign matter such as dust, and water droplets do not infiltrate into the gear housing 22, to thereby obtain the window elevating device which is excellent in anti-dust performance, water resistance, and freeze resistance, and high in reliability.
