PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for an axle capable of selectively assembling different kinds of constant velocity joints to increase the general-purpose property. SOLUTION: In this bearing device for the axle, a centering part 31 for butting any constant velocity joint 4 among a plurality of kinds of constant velocity joints on a vehicle inner side of a shaft body 3 connected with a hub wheel 1 while they are coaxially centered in common is provided. Consequently, since the constant velocity joint 4 is selected from a plurality of kinds of constant velocity joints and is attached to the vehicle inner side of the hub wheel 1, the bearing device for the axle of different type can be manufactured by merely changing the kind of the constant velocity joint 4 to be attached to increase the general-purpose property.
