PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an antenna and an antenna manufactured by the same are provided to allow the antenna to be easily handled and installed by reducing weight of the antenna, while reducing manufacturing cost and improving accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an antenna comprises a first step(S1) of forming an antenna body into a predetermined shape from a synthetic resin material; a second step(S2) of checking the existence of distortion or foreign substances at the outer surface of the antenna body; a third step(S3) of analyzing material and chemical property of the main body; a fourth step(S4) of drying the antenna body for a predetermined time period such that the antenna body is completely dried; a fifth step(S5) of etching the surface of the antenna body to be uniform; a sixth step(S6) of cleaning and drying the etched surface; a seventh step(S7) of depositing a metal material onto the surface of the antenna body through an electroless plating; and an eighth step(S8) of drying the antenna body for a predetermined time period.
