PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a transparent thermal recording material excellent in head matching properties at the time of printing, developed color density and preservability. SOLUTION: In the transparent thermal recording material constituted by providing a thermal color forming layer containing a colorless or light-colored color forming compound and a coupling compound developing the color of the color forming compound at the time of heating on a transparent support and forming a radiation curable protective layer thereon, 1,2- diphenoxymethylbenzene is added to the thermal color forming layer and the haze value of the transparent thermal recording material is not more than 60%. |
