SOLUTION: In this volume reducing equipment for waste plastic or the like which subjects waste plastic, etc., to compressive volume reducing with a hydraulic cylinder 16, a large-volume pump 1 and a small-volume pump 2 is disposed as a hydraulic source of the hydraulic cylinder 16, a dry valve 5 which supplies the operation oil sucked into the large-volume pump 1 in a mist state is interposed in a suction passage 25 of the large-volume pump 1, a sequence valve (dry valve operating means) 3 which allows the dry valve 5 to reduce the quantity of the operating oil sucked into the large-volume pump 1 is disposed and, thereby, the waste plastic, etc., is compressed and reduced in volume efficiently. |
