SOLUTION: In this airbag having an airbag main body 1 having expansion chambers 2a, 2b, and the gas flow passage 2d provided inside the airbag main body 1 to introduce the high-pressure gas blown out from the inflator to the expansion chambers 2a, 2b, contraction parts 2j, 2k are provided in branch parts 2g, 2h for branching the high-pressure gas flowing in the gas flow passage 2d toward the expansion chambers 2a, 2b, and the airbag main body 1 is expansion-developed instantaneously into a prescribed shape, since the high- pressure gas blown out from the inflator into the gas passage 2d flows smoothly in the gas flow passage 2d to reach to the expansion chambers 2a, 2b. |
