<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for starting up ash melting equipment wherein a trouble caused by early closing and the like in heat recovery means after the starting-up of the ash melting equipment can be prevented from happening, and henceforth a smooth melting processing for processed ash is ensured. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for starting up ash melting equipment comprising an ash melting furnace 1 including heating means 16 for heating the inside of the furnace, heat recovery means 32 for recovering waste heat of exhaust gas exhausted from the ash melting furnace 1, and soot blow means for performing soot blow for the heat recovery means 32 with steam obtained by the waste heat recovered by the heat recovery means 32. In the method, the inside of the ash melting furnace 1 is continuously heated with the heating means 16 to maintain a temperature lower than melting processing temperature of processed ash, and exhaust gas produced in the ash melting furnace 1 is fed to the heat recovery means 32 continuously for the heat recovery, and further after the pressure of the steam is raised up to a pressure enough to perform soot blow, the melting processing for the processed ash in the ash melting furnace 1 is started up.</p> |
