PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cemented carbide combined body which has a tough junction by improving a product in which a member of cemented carbide and an intermediate layer metal are bonded by means of solid diffusion bonding and preventing the breakage from the neighborhood of the junction which are often generated in the product of such a kind, in the cemented carbide combined body which is made by bonding, for example, a member of WC cemented carbide represented by a shank of a cutting tool to the cemented carbide or other metal via the Co intermediate layer metal. SOLUTION: Projection of hard particles, to be concrete, sand blast with a high arc-height is performed in the vicinity of the junction, compression stress is applied on the surface of the member of cemented carbide and, thereby, breaking strength is enhanced. |
