PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily restore damaged data. SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises a recording medium, a readout processing means 91 which reads out data recorded in the recording medium, a navigation processing means 92 which performs a prescribed navigation processing operation on the basis of the data, a data-damage judgment processing means 95 which judges whether the data is damaged or not, an information acquisition processing means 93 which acquires data for restoration from the outside of the navigation system when the data is damaged and a data restoration processing means 94 which restores the damaged data on the basis of the data for restoration. Since the data for restoration is acquired from the outside of the navigation system, the damaged data can be restored quickly and easily on the basis of the data for restoration. |
