PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand welding device 21 which easily optimizes a state of welding, stabilizes welding strength and welding quality and reduces the occurrence of splash. SOLUTION: Objects 17, 13 to be welded are inserted and held by a pair of electrodes 26, 27 in accordance with a closing operation of a hand lever 31. The inclination of a pair of the electrodes 26, 27 to the object 17, 13 to be welded is detected in the state of inserting the object 17, 13 to be welded. When the detected inclination is out of the proper range, the supply of a welding current to a pair of the electrodes 26, 27 is regulated and, at the same time, when the inclination is within the proper range, the supply of the welding current to a pair of the electrodes 26, 27 is allowed.
