PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for test wherein the peeling resistance against a shear pressurization of a self-adhesive tape can be evaluated simply. SOLUTION: A test-piece holding member (40) and a splice-member holding member (50) are arranged and installed between a first guide frame (10) and a second guide frame (20), a test piece (3) in which the adhesive tape (1) is pasted on a piece (2) on which the tape is pasted is locked by a stopper (41) on the member (40), a rubber splice member (4) is spliced to the adhesive tape as a test piece, and the splice member presses the surface of the adhesive tape by the urging force of a spring (31), the member (40) and the member (50) are relatively moved back and forth by a rotating arm (72) driven by a motor (70), and the adhesive tape is shear-pressurized by the splice member.
