PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a device without damaging track surface or rolling surface. SOLUTION: An inner ring 17, having a second inner raceway 18, is engaged on the outer side of a shaft 15 having a first inner raceway 16. A pitch P1 for the both raceways 16 and 18 is set larger than a pitch p1 , that is necessary for providing a prescribed pre-load. Under this condition, balls 5 and 5 are assembled between outer raceway 43 and 43 in the inner periphery surface of the outer ring 19 and the first and the second inner raceways 16 and 18. The balls 5 and 5 are disposed at a circumferentially equal interval. The inner ring 17 is then deflected in the axial direction, a pitch is set as P1 , and a necessary pre-load is imparted.
