PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal formed roof material with easy construction work and an appearance favorable in design capable of eliminating water leakage by simple contrivance of shape. SOLUTION: The metal formed roof material comprises a metal plate formed with longitudinally extending protruding lines in both sides of a width direction so that a protruding line provided in a width direction one side of one roof material mutually fits with a protruding line provided in a width direction other side of another roof material when two roof materials are provided horizontally next to each other. A flat nailing part 14 formed one level higher by a burring process is provided in a center part of one protruding line 11 positioned in an upper side in mutual fitting, and a longitudinally extending drain groove 15 is provided in an inward side than a center part 12 of a protruding line 12 positioned in a lower side in mutual fitting. When forming a step-like rib 16 including longitudinal protruding lines in midway of a longitudinal direction, the step-like rib is provided obliquely from a protruding line in the upper side toward a protruding line in a lower side when the roofing materials are roofed in overlapping states, and it is used as an adjustment allowance absorbing longitudinal deviation in execution of works in a transverse direction.
