PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system for forming an elevator hoistway by vertically connecting and fixing a block on site capable of eliminating a manufacturing error of a block and conducting accurate connection of each block easily. SOLUTION: The block 2 is assembled by using laser devices 6E1, 6E2 so that a lower part plate 2D provided on four corners of a lower part of each block and an upper plate 2B provided on four corners of an upper part are in exact positions. A connecting position of upper and lower blocks is decided by positioning the upper part plate of the lower block and the lower part plate of the upper block in vertically connecting and fixing the blocks on site.
