PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring pad for ensuring connection of electrical contacts by applying an appropriate force. SOLUTION: The spring pad 50 for ensuring electrical interconnection between the electrical contact 46 of a printer carriage 40 and the electrical contact 36 corresponding to the contact 46 of a printing cartridge set to the printer carriage is provided with a base part 52 having a first face 521 and a second face 522 opposite to the first face, and a plurality of resilient bumps 54 protruding from the first face of the base part. Each of the resilient bumps has a substantially semi-ellipsoidal shape and includes a hollow interior 541 communicating with the second face of the base part.
