PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping mechanism in a fluid pipe machining device which can reliably restrict the movement of a stepping screw member unless it is turned, and correctly operate the cutting quantity (the stepping quantity) to a cutting tool per one rotation. SOLUTION: The stepping mechanism 19 comprises a star-like member 30 driven by a kicker mechanism 28, a stepping screw member 34 turned by the star-like member 30, and a turn regulating member 32 to restrict the movement of the stepping screw member, and restricts the movement of the stepping screw member 34 by the turn regulating member 32 unless the stepping screw member 34 is turned by the star-like member 30.
