PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact system which makes a selective or composite utilization for three kinds of diagnosing methods possible by a simple switchover, for the imaging and the spectrodiagnosis of a tissue. SOLUTION: The three kinds of diagnosing methods comprise a method A for a white light imaging diagnosis, a method B for a fluorescent light imaging diagnosis, and a method C for a fluorescent spectrodiagnosis. This system has a first radiation means and a second radiation means being combined with optical fibers which communicate with an endoscope. By the first radiation means, the image of a wider region for an examination is obtained. In the second radiation means, a device which makes possible a specific examination for a narrow tissue region is incorporated. In the ray passages of the two radiation means, a means by which ray bundles can be alternately and temporarily released or shut off is arranged. Then, the regions for the examination are semi-simultaneously cast by one optical fiber only. At the same time, the diagnosis can be semi-simultaneously performed by different methods.
