APPARATUS FOR REDUCING INTAKE NOISE OF SURGE TANK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing intake noise of a surge tank is provided to effectively reduce intake noise by forming dampers on the surfaces of a surge tank. CONSTITUTION: An inlet(11) is formed at one side of a surge tank(10) and an intake manifold(12) is coupled to the other end of the surge tank(10) so as to supply intake air to a combustion chamber of an engine. Dampers(14) are formed on the surfaces(13) of the surge tank(10). A space having a predetermined size is formed in the dampers(14). Fluid(15) is filled in the dampers(14) so as to dampen intake noise created when intake air hits the surfaces of the surge tank(10). The dampers(14) are covered with a cover(16).
