PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing safety shoe box toes which are light in weight, homogeneous and high in strength without giving rise to the variation in strength and appearance defect of molded goods at a high yield with good productivity. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the safety shoe box toe comprising putting filament reinforced thermoplastic resin pellet materials into a pseudo box toe mold 11a, compressing the materials under heating to primarily mold the pseudo box toe 1, disposing the resultant pseudo box toe into a safety shoe box toe mold 11b and pressurizing the same under heating thereby compression molding the safety shoe box toe is provided. The safety shoe box toe which consists of the filament reinforced thermoplastic resin and is 70 to 100% in the reinforcing fiber content of a skirt section with respect to a main body section is obtained. |
