APPARATUS FOR TREATING BOILOFF GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely burn boiloff gas by a catalytic burner. SOLUTION: This boiloff gas treating apparatus for burning the boiloff gas generated from a liquid hydrogen tank 1 loaded on a hydrogen fuel vehicle and discharging the combustion gas is provided with an ejector 6 for introducing air to a boiloff gas discharging line 10 of the gas discharged from the tank 1 and mixing the introduced air with the boiloff gas, a catalytic burner 7 for burning the gaseous mixture mixed by the ejector 6 and an electric heater 8 which is arranged on the gaseous mixture introducing side of the burner 7 and constituted of an electric heating wire on the surface of which a catalyst is stuck.
