PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a centrifugal dust collection section (cyclone dust collection section) that is inexpensively structured, realizes compression of fibrous dust and is easy to use. SOLUTION: A centrifugal separation chamber 22 and a first intake air section 46 provided in the separation chamber 22 and communicating with an electric blower, and a dust storage chamber 24 communicating with the separation chamber 22 and storing dust are provided in a dust case 11, the dust storage chamber 24, a second intake air section 49 communicating with the electric blower to effectively compress dust of the dust storage chamber 24.
