PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod of an ordinary jointed structure capable of connecting each part without making a mistake in the order or direction and the fishing rod of the ordinary jointed structure without slipping off each part from a connected part when the fishing rod is shaken because there are problems that the order or direction of each part is readily mistaken when a joint part is connected and each part is readily slipped off from the connected part when the fishing rod of the ordinary jointed structure is shaken, in the fishing rod of the ordinary jointed structure (without a shaking out structure). SOLUTION: This fishing rod is obtained by connecting the whole fishing rod with a stretchable stringy material such as a rubber or a spring so as not to make the mistake in the order or direction of each part of the fishing rod. The fishing rod once connected is kept in a connected state by a tension of the stretchable stringy material. The reason for using the stretchable material is to cause no trouble when the fishing rod of the ordinary jointed structure is folded.
