PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool useful as a weeding tool which can save labor, is of traction type by an automobile and has a structure friendly to the environment in control of weeds in playgrounds, parks, or the like, as a place for lifetime learning of elderly person and a place for sports of young person, in these days desiring the clean environment without depending on a chemical and without using a large-sized heavy machine having a high economical burden. SOLUTION: This traction type weeding tool has a structure that the tool is pulled by an automobile to weed, has a structure in which a plurality of U-shaped blades in the traveling direction are arranged at the tail lower part of a rectangular frame, sets a heavy load as a weight on the top of the frame, makes the blade part drive into the ground, shaves off roots of weeds together with soil and sand to weed, has a low catch ratio of grass and soil and sand due to arrangement of the blades in the direction parallel with the traveling direction and, after weeding, the ground surface becoming rough by the blades is subjected to soil preparation after the weeding by turning the tool upside down and replacing the weight and a weight placing stand with other ones.
