PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toy interesting a child continuously by outputting various kinds of sounds. SOLUTION: The toy includes a plurality of figures 100 modeling on vehicles, a base 200 and a cover 300. The figures 100 have ID tags having unique identification information, and the base 200 is provided with tag readers 212 for detecting the ID tags. The cover 300 is fixed to the surface of the base 200 when the toy is used, a sound ROM 330 fixed to the cover 300 that incorporates sound data is fitted into the reading part 222 of the base 200. Thus, the sound data and the sound output condition are recorded in the base 200. When the player moves the figures on the cover 300, ID information which the ID tags have is detected by the tag readers 212. When the kind of the identification information and the position of a figure specified by the position of a tag reader 212 having detected the identification information satisfy the above condition, sound based on sound data is outputted from a speaker 221.
