PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing drinking coffee allowing every person to easily make tasty coffee using coffee beans, in particular, to make iced coffee in a short time. SOLUTION: This method for producing drinking coffee comprises brewing coffee extract from coffee beans; wherein a smaller amount of water than the whole amount of drinking coffee is added to roasted and ground coffee beans to irradiate the resultant mixture with microwave, and thereafter, the resultant coffee beans are soaked in water for extraction to brew coffee extraction.
