Rollers rotate at different speeds, within a specific speed difference range. Treating strip metal comprises passing it through a set of rollers rotating at different speeds, the difference in speed being 5-100%. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a rolling apparatus for carrying out the above process, comprising at least two rollers with a different diameter and/or rotated at different speeds; and (b) strip metal treated using the above process.
