COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING PLUM AND/OR POMEGRANATE FOR SUPPRESSING SEBUM SECRETION

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing a mixed extract of Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc. and Punica granatum L. is provided which causes no adverse effect to the skin, reducing oily skin by shrinking the pores of the skin and reducing sebum secretion. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition contains 0.01 to 10% by weight of a mixed extract of Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc. and Punica granatum L. The extract is obtained by mixing Prunus mume Sieb. et Zucc. and Punica granatum L. in a weight of 1:10 to 10:1 and then steeping in one or more solvents selected from the group consisting of purified water, pure water purified water, hydrous butylene glycol, hydrous propylene glycol and hydrous glycerin at 5 to 37 deg.C for 1 to 15 days.
