SILICON COMPOUNDS HAVING FUNCTIONAL GROUPS AND METHOD FOR REFORMING THE SURFACE OF INORGANIC SOLID USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Silicon compounds having functional groups and a method for reforming the surface of an inorganic solid using the same are provided, therefore the inorganic solid, of which surface is reformed, can strongly bind with various polymer resins. CONSTITUTION: The silicon compounds are represented by formula(1):(X)4-n So(R-Y) or formula(2): (R'O)2 (G)Si(OSi(G)(G'))mSi(G)(OR')2, wherein X is hydroxy, halogen or C1-C5 alkoxide; R and R' are independently hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyl; Y is imidazol derivative or carboxylic acid; G and G' are independently hydrogen, C1-C5 alkyl, or R"-K; R" is hydrogen or C1-C5 alkyl; K is imidazol derivative, epoxide derivative, amine derivative or carboxylic acid; n is 1 or 2; and m is an integer of 1 to 40. The method for reforming the surface of an inorganic solid comprises dipping the inorganic solid in a solution containing the silicon compounds.
