PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a back leak prevention effect by making each of hip holding flap parts have an absorptive function in an absorptive article provided with hip holding flaps on both rear side parts. SOLUTION: In an absorptive article 1 which has three-dimensional gathers BS on both front sides while interposing an absorber 4 between a liquid permeable top sheet 3 and a liquid non-permeable back sheet 2, formed with hip holding flaps HF and HF on both the rear side parts from a side non-woven fabric 7 forming the 3D gathers BS and the liquid non-permeable back sheet 2, each of hip holding flap parts HF is equipped with a sheet-shaped absorptive member 11 interposed between the side non-woven fabric 7 and the liquid non- permeable back sheet 2, the side non-woven fabric 7 is water-repellant non- woven fabric having a water pressure proof test value based on JIS L1092 of 40 mm to 160 mm and in the sheet-shaped absorptive member 11, the Klem water absorption degree based on JIS P8141 is from 5 mm to 50 mm.
