PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fluid absorber which hardly gives rise to rewetting while taking advantage of the hygroscopicity possessed by cellulose fibers, is comfortable in wearing and makes the absorption state of body fluid visible from the surface. SOLUTION: This body fluid absorber is a laminate formed by successively superposing a first layer consisting of a nonwoven fabric containing the cellulose fibers, a second layer consisting of a synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric imparted with hydrophilicity, a third layer consisting of an absorber and a fourth layer consisting of a liquid impermeable external material. The first layer is used on the skin surface side and the absorbed body fluid is made visible from the first layer side.
