PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus and a coating method capable of corresponding to various coating solutions corresponding to a use in the coating of a web and capable of achieving a uniform coating profile and good coating film quality by feeding the coating solution in an amount of 1.1 times or more with respect to a coating amount to allow the same to flow to both sides of the web from the central part thereof in a web advance direction.
