PURPOSE: Vegetable nutrient containing starfish extract which is nitrogenous amino acid, and organic fertilizer containing tissue of starfish and minerals are provided. The nutrients and fertilizer improve growth of plants, and have good storage and stability. CONSTITUTION: The vegetable nutrient, containing 200-250mg/ml of nitrogenous amino acid, is produced by the following steps of: crushing starfish to a size less than 50mesh; centrifuging crushed materials at 1500-200rpm for 30min to get an amino acid solution; and fermenting the solution with microbes like lactobacillus at 35deg.C for 2-3days in an aerobic condition for liquid starfish extract(pH3-4). The organic fertilizer is produced by the following steps of: preparing organic tissue, precipitates obtained from centrifuging; adding minerals such as zeolite or perlite to be a mixture of organic tissue and minerals in a ratio of 1 : 0.4-0.6, and crushing 2-3times; fermenting powder at the same condition for solid starfish extract(pH 4-5). |
