PURPOSE: An image and sound optical system for a theater is provided to realize an equally bright screen by straightly reflecting an image projected to a concave screen, increase cubic effect, and obtain a sound effect which seems to be jumping out of the screen. CONSTITUTION: A structure of an image and sound system of a theater includes a concave screen(1) having a spherical curvature(R), wherein a surface reflexibility of the concave screen is 5-50%, a projector placed at a focus point of the spherical curvature of the concave screen(1), and seats arranged within the horizontal length of the concave screen(1), and a center speaker placed at the focal distance point, so that sound of the center speaker is reflected from the concave screen(1).
