PURPOSE: A card service system and method using a terminal and a certification is provided to use a card in a terminal connected to the Internet without visiting a card terminal mounted place. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a banking service server of a transaction bank which supports an Internet banking service by inputting an ID and a password(S1). The user transmits one's certification to the banking service server(S3) using a stored certification or by connecting to a certification managing institution(S2). If the user selects a card transaction item, the banking service server requests card information to the user(S4), and the user inputs card information in a card reader connected to one's terminal(S5). The user card information is transmitted to the banking service server(S6). The banking service server performs a transaction using the received information, and transmits result information with respect to the transaction to the user terminal(S7).
