HORIZONTAL SUPPLY TYPE ROLL COMPRESSION GRANULATOR AND ROLL POCKET THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the shape failure of granulated parts by making the granulated parts and flashes easily separable only at the flashes with a horizontal supply type roll compression granulator using a pair of rolls engraved with pockets of a recessed shape. SOLUTION: This horizontal supply type roll compression granulator is capable of obtaining a large amount of grains of a specified size by supplying raw material powder between a pair of rolls which are arranged one above the other, rotate in opposite directions so as to bite each other and are engraved with a multiplicity of the recessed pockets on the surfaces and subjecting the powder to compression granulating by the rotation of the rolls. The roll pocket arrays are arranged in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the rolls.
