PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize automatic time counting and automatic recording by detecting the existence and a position of a Go stone on a Go board. SOLUTION: The existence and the position of the Go stone are detected by using a CDS, and the automatic time counting and the automatic recording are realized by a microcomputer technology on the basis of this detection.
