GRAIN CULMS-CONVEYING APPARATUS OF COMBINE HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain culms-conveying apparatus of a combine harvester with which a variable speed transmission for pretreatment driving is protected from excessive pressure due to blockage of grain culms. SOLUTION: In this grain culms-conveying apparatus of the combine harvester controlled so that a relationship between a traveling speed of the combine harvester and a conveying speed of grain culms in the pre-treating part becomes a proportional relation, a controller 85 is provided. When conveying speed of the grain culms in the pre-treating part is lowered by a predetermined ratio or larger than the proportional relation after the conveying speed of grain culms in the pre-treating part becomes a relation which is proportional to the traveling speed of the combine harvester, the controller 85 controls so as to stop the conveyance of grain culms in the pre-treating part. The controller 85 prevents excessive pressure to a variable speed transmission for driving the pre-treating part to enable protection of the variable speed transmission.
